How to Operate DAMLY Radiant Heat Gas Brooder for Poultry?
The SUNFLOWER radiant heat gas brooder for poultry is completely inspected and tested in the factory before shipment. Before turning on, it is mandatory to verify that the installation was carried out in accordance with these instructions.
SUNFLOWER Gas Brooder
- Ignition: with maxi pressure <100 mbar (G31), <30 mbar (G20)
- Press knob of the safety gas valve for 20 seconds then hold a match or lighter at the opening in the main burner whilst keeping the knob pressed down for about 10 more seconds. The time necessary to activate the safety valve.
- Release knob: the gas brooder is in operation
- To extinguish the gas brooder: close line valve ahead of the gas brooder
SUNFLOWER+ Gas Brooder with the thermostat
- Put the thermostat at the highest temperature.
- Press knob of the safety gas valve for 20 seconds then hold a match or lighter at the opening in the main burner whilst keeping the knob pressed down for about 10 more seconds. Time necessary to activate the safety valve.
- Release knob: the gas brooder is in operation
- To extinguish the gas brooder: close line valve ahead of the heater
- To adjust the thermostat, just turn the button on the appropriate value. When the temperature is reached, the Sunflower+ gas brooder will adjust automatically its power.
From the LPG gas bottle, you need to use a pressure regulator to adjust the pressure between 20mbar to 1400mbar (depends on the season) not more than 1400mbar, otherwise it will destroy the gas valve.
The recommended installation height of the poultry radiant heat gas brooder is around 1.2m and put the sensor near the chicken but in order they cannot touch.
